Direct Debit
  1. Direct debit is a facility given to Corporates (Suppliers) having Vistaar facility and supplying goods to their Dealers (Dealers need not be availing INB facility) whereby the Corporate (Supplier) can directly debit the accounts of their dealers maintained at SBI branches at different locations.
  2. In this facility the Supplier and the Bank will enter in to a bipartite agreement, based on which, the Dealer will provide a mandate to the supplier for debiting his account up to a specific limit.
  3. Example: Company 'A' (Supplier) is supplying petrol to his dealer 'B' (Dealer) The conventional method: 'B' approaches his bank and takes a demand draft then fills up the requisition form and sends it to 'A'. 'A' then deposits the DD in his bank and after realization of the DD, supplies petrol.
  4. In respect of "SBI Direct Debit" the flow will be as under:
  5. 'B' places the order for petrol; online/over telephone/by fax (Any mode). 'A' raises debit to the Dealer's account through OnlineSBI. Upon confirmation of the credit, 'A' supplies petrol to 'B'. This is also referred to as the 'Pull method of e-collection'.
MIS reports

MIS can be downloaded by Corporate through their interface. The default MIS contains the data uploaded by corporate customer with SBI Reference No. and transaction status. If customer needs MIS in a different format then they have to advise INB department their format and accordingly the 'Reverse File Configuration' is done from the back office. MIS can be posted directly to the Corporate URL in the XML format. MIS can also be sent to the Corporates server through Secured File Transfer Protocol using SFTP client

Host to Host integration

If customers have ERP system, ERP systems have inbuilt security features. To transfer the file from ERP system to OnlineSBI system in a secure manner, we provide the following facilities:

  1. Up-load of encrypted file: Customer can use their own encryption logic for encrypting the file or else SBI can provide the same. We support both symmetric and asymmetric (Digital Certificates) type of encryptions.
  2. Automation of file uploads from customer ERP to SBI SFTP Server: Seamless file transfer between Corporates ERP system and SBI's server will be done through Secured File Transfer Protocol using SFTP client. SBI will install SFTP client in the gateway server of the Corporate. Corporate can set scheduler to set the frequency of 'push' and 'pull' of the files to and from SBI server.
  3. There is inbuilt encryption facility in SAP. If customers are using SAP ERP system then they can upload SAP encrypted file to OnlineSBI system without using other key for encryption. OnlineSBI system can process SAP encrypted file.
